Parental Information

Mizu Con is a Japanese Animation convention that revolves around Japanese cartoons. The Convention is held over the weekend within a Three day span in Miami Florida. Held at the convention are a variety of events that include video game rooms, panel rooms, formal dances, costume contests, meet and greets with voice actors and guests, and much more. Along with these we will also be featuring a Dealers room comprised of independent shops. In this room attendees may purchase merchandise ranging from DVD’s to t-shirts.

Mizu Con is a convention based around an atmosphere of friendship, but some of the events held at our convention are for viewers over the age of 18. These titles can contain mature situations which may be considered too graphic for younger viewers. Most of our attendees range from the ages of 15 to 30. We encourage attendees under the age of 18 to have their parents with them for some of the events listed. There will be parent passes available for such occasions. Most of our events begin at 12pm and end around 5pm, but most of the ‘late night’ programming will be viewed and presented after 12:00am. Any showings and any merchandise that may be considered to be of an adult nature are bound by contract and by law to not be sold or displayed without asking for proper identification.

If you feel unsure of the appropriateness of any of our programming, please feel free to contact us on our website or talk to any of our staff during the convention. Mizu Con encourages parents to be informed on anything their children are watching and reading!

Thank you for your time.
